Britannica's Spotlights

Britannica frequently produces mini websites to put the “spotlight” on a calendar event or a particular subject at specific times of the year. Each spotlight is a stand-alone mini website where access is given to the relevant Primary Britannica article as well as a specially created Activity Centre to help children learn while having fun.

Plus, as a Britannica Online School Edition subscriber, you can recommend curriculum-specific topics for future spotlights that you think will benefit your students. From Shakespeare to Castles to Healthy Eating, anything goes! Just email: spotlight@britannica.co.uk.

The BETT Show takes place every January at Olympia in London and this year’s event was bigger and better than ever. Britannica’s stand looked fantastic and attendees were impressed by how much Britannica has to offer the e-learning community.

Britannica Image Quest was also a runner up in the Digital Resource and Collections category at the BETT awards. It was an honour to be nominated for an award at such a prestigious event!
